Install Keywords Everywhere

Have you checked if your brand has any search volume? To find out, install the Keywords Everywhere Chrome extension and search for your brand name (link in comments).

If you've been in the membership for a while, you know that Mastering P.o.P member "God Ain't Petty" generates significant revenue purely from her brand name searches, not traditional keywords. I've discussed her success on Zoom calls before.

A brand gets search volume when people actively look for it on Google. This happens when the brand name becomes known, relevant, and worth searching for.

Here’s how that works in simple terms:

People Need to Know the Brand Exists

  • If no one knows your brand, no one will search for it.
  • You have to introduce your brand to people through marketing, ads, content, word of mouth, etc.

People Need a Reason to Search for the Brand

  • Maybe they saw an ad or heard someone talk about it.
  • Maybe they saw the brand on social media, YouTube, or a blog.
  • Maybe they need something and remember the brand from before.

Google Tracks Every Search

  • Every time someone types the brand name in Google, it gets recorded.
  • If more people search for it, the search volume grows.
  • If no one searches, the brand won’t show up in tools like Google Keyword Planner or Ahrefs.

Ways to Get More People to Search Your Brand Name

  • Running Google Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, or TV ads.
  • Retargeting past visitors to remind them.
  • Email marketing with your brand name in subject lines.

Organic Visibility (SEO)

  • Ranking high for keywords so people notice your brand.
  • Blog content that educates and subtly promotes your brand.
  • Answering common questions so people associate the solution with your name.

Social Media & Influencers

  • Posting consistently on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
  • Collaborating with influencers who mention your brand.
  • Going viral with a unique post, meme, or challenge.

Word of Mouth & PR

  • People are talking about your brand in real life.
  • Getting featured in news articles, podcasts, or interviews.
  • Building a community around your product or service.

Offline Branding

  • Billboards, flyers, packaging, or event sponsorships.
  • If people see your brand name often, they might Google it later.

How We Work

In Mastering P.o.P’s membership, each member has a customized SEO strategy that they are actively executing. For any online business owner with a website, having a clear SEO strategy is important—it helps attract the right audience, rank well in search results, and drive traffic to the site. As part of this strategy, we track 100 keywords for each member. These keywords are carefully selected based on competitors performing well with them, alignment with our product offerings, and the expected traffic they can generate.

Members regularly receive tips like these within the community and during weekly Zoom calls, which are recorded, timestamped, and organized with agendas to make the guidance clear and actionable. Learn How We Work!
