South Table Sheds joined the Mastering P.o.P program in mid-September 2024. In collaboration, Mastering P.o.P quickly built a simple yet highly optimized website using the free Dawn theme, focusing on important local keywords like "Denver sheds."
Optimizing for Success: The Strategy Behind the Website
While these efforts have helped achieve initial success, it’s important to note that this is only a small percentage of the overall SEO strategy. There is still much work to be done to fully optimize the site and scale its growth.
For example, newly added product pages need to be optimized to enhance visibility and drive traffic. Installing essential apps like cross-sell/upsell apps and volume discount apps will be important for improving user experience and increasing revenue.
Currently, the only conversion optimization app installed is PushOwl/Brevo, which we set up on all new member websites. This app is vital for capturing subscribers for push alerts and newsletters, ensuring businesses can begin building a loyal customer base from the start.
Did we mention blogging? Yeah, blogging is a huge part of the strategy, which she hasn't even started yet. But when she gets started, she will be installing DropInBlog. The homepage title tag and meta description were written to stay within the recommended limits—55 characters for the title tag and 155 characters for the meta description. Both included strategic keywords such as Denver Sheds Colorado and modifiers like custom build and custom sheds to improve relevance for search engines and users.
We incorporated a clear call to action (CTA), encouraging visitors to take the next step, such as requesting a free estimate, which helps drive engagement and conversions. These optimizations make sure the content is both informative and actionable while adhering to best SEO practices.
Clear Messaging
We included actionable phrases like “get a free estimate” and emphasized South Table Sheds' years of experience in building high-quality sheds. This not only enhances user trust but also improves local search relevance.
Header Tags (H2s)
The H2 tags throughout the website incorporate keywords such as shed along with modifiers like quality to align with user search intent. Additionally, some H2 tags highlight specific shed types, such as:
- Loafing Sheds
- Bike Sheds
- Custom Sheds
Optimized Images
Every image on the site was optimized with descriptive alt text, and file names making them not only user-friendly but also SEO-friendly. For example, images were optimized with keywords like Loafing Shed Denver Colorado and Bike Shed Denver Colorado to strengthen local keyword targeting.
Expanding Their Horizons: New Offerings for Online Sales
South Table Sheds is not stopping with building high-quality sheds. They’ve recently expanded their business to include shed kits and accessories available for online purchase.
